ACT Preparation
No single test has more influence over the quality of a student's
higher education than the college admissions test. It measures
the culmination of all the knowledge and aptitudes acquired throughout
twelve years of schooling and ranks it with a single number!
This can seem frightening to the prospective college student,
especially when considering today's competition.
Oxford's ACT Preparation program ensures that your student has
the test taking skills necessary to put forth their full effort—without
feeling encumbered by the worries of disorganization and time
constraints.
Skill Builders
Oxford prepares students by first allowing them to review materials
learned in High School. We administer a practice ACT to identify
weak spots, and then strengthen those areas using a series of
ACT skill builders.
Practice ACT Tests
Each student practices taking sample ACT exams on the computer,
giving them a feel for the real thing. Students can use the Oxford
computers at any time during the week, free of charge. The more
time spent on the computer, the higher the corresponding score.
Answering All the Questions
Finally, we answer all the questions surrounding the ACT. Questions
such as: Should I guess? How should I prepare? May I cancel my
score? When do I register for the test? Part of being confident
is knowing what to expect. Oxford's ACT program ensures that
students head into the exam equipped with the skills and confidence
to give it their best.
